Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ Secures ‘U/A’ Certification with CBFC Recommendations

Shah Rukh Khan’s highly-anticipated film, “Jawan,” directed by Atlee, is set to hit theaters on September 7. The film recently secured a ‘U/A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). While ‘U/A’ certification means audiences of all ages can watch the film, children under 12 are recommended to have parental guidance.

CBFC has also recommended seven modifications in the film, including reducing the duration of a suicide scene and changing certain dialogues. Shah Rukh Khan plays a dual role in the film, with Nayanthara as the female lead and cameo appearances by Sanya Malhotra and Deepika Padukone. The film reportedly features SRK in six distinct looks, including a character named Azad, who is a jailer.
