Subhash Ghai announces Khal Nayank with Sanjay Dutt, first part to re-release On September 5

The iconic 1993 action drama film “Khalnayak,” starring Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Madhuri Dixit Nene, is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a select cinema re-release. Directed and produced by Subhash Ghai, the film completed three decades on August 6, 2023. In honor of this milestone, a star-studded premiere is scheduled for September 4, organized by Mukta Arts and Radio Nasha.

“Khalnayak” will return to select theaters on September 5, responding to public demand, through Subhash Ghai’s cinema chain, Mukta A2. Ghai expressed his excitement about bringing back the magic of “Khalnayak” to the big screen, considering the overwhelming love and support the film received from audiences three decades ago.

The film features Sanjay Dutt as the anti-hero Ballu, Jackie Shroff as police officer Ram, and Madhuri Dixit as undercover police officer Ganga. “Khalnayak” is renowned as one of the biggest hits of the 1990s and has achieved cult status over the years. RJ Rohini, brand content director of Radio Nasha, emphasized that “Khalnayak” is an iconic film deserving of celebration.

In addition to the lead cast, “Khalnayak” also starred Anupam Kher, Siddharth Randeria, Aloka Mukherjee, Ramya Krishnan, and Pramod Moutho.
