In a series of glimpses, the first video captures guests enjoying a Maharashtrian-style dinner, with Aamir’s ex-wife Kiran Rao joining the celebrations. Ira, donned in a red saree with a minimal makeup look, shared the moment with her loved ones.
The second picture showcased Ira with Nupur, actor Mithila Palkar, and others, officially marking the beginning of the wedding festivities. Nupur chose a red kurta paired with a golden jacket and black pyjamas for the occasion.
Mithila, capturing the excitement, posted a picture with the couple on Instagram, expressing her eagerness for their union. She captioned it, “Let’s get you guys married” and wore a yellow suit for the celebration.
Ira had previously announced her engagement to Nupur Shikhare on November 18, with the Khan family, including Aamir, Imran Khan, Reena Dutta, and Kiran Rao, joyfully participating in the engagement ceremony.
In an earlier Instagram post, Ira officially revealed the wedding date through a video, confirming the special day as January 3, 2024.
Aamir Khan, previously married to Reena Dutta, has a daughter Ira and a son Junaid from his first marriage. He later married Kiran Rao in 2005, and together they welcomed their son Azad through surrogacy in 2011.
