Veteran actor Anil Kapoor is proving to be a doting grandfather, and he recently took to Instagram to share a heartwarming moment with his daughter, Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor, and her one-year-old son, Vayu.
In a post on Friday, Anil shared a black-and-white picture where he is seen gazing affectionately at his grandson, who is cradled in the arms of his mother, Sonam. Both Anil and Sonam are captured with joyful smiles. Anil dons a shirt, while Sonam appears in traditional attire, complemented by dangling earrings.
Anil’s caption for the post reads, “Can never get tired of watching my baby girl hold her baby boy… @sonamkapoor ❤️.”

In response, Sonam expressed her love for her father, commenting, “Love you dad ❤️.” Sunita Kapoor, Anil’s wife and Sonam’s mother, showered the post with red heart emojis. Anil’s younger brother and actor, Sanjay Kapoor, along with his wife Maheep Kapoor, from Netflix India Original series “The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives,” also added red heart emojis to the comments.
Recently, the Kapoor family celebrated Vayu’s first birthday with a special lunch and puja. Sonam shared photos from the festivities, with family members dressed in traditional attire while little Vayu looked adorable in a turquoise kurta and white pants. One photo captured Sonam and her husband Anand Ahuja holding Vayu during the puja.

Sonam and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in May 2018, and they welcomed Vayu into their lives on August 20, 2022.
