LAHORE – After the conclusion of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9, former Pakistan cricket captain Babar Azam traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah with fellow Test cricketer Imamul Haq.
Departing from Lahore airport, Azam, along with his brother, performed the Umrah pilgrimage soon after the conclusion of the PSL season.
During the ninth edition of the PSL, Babar Azam’s team, Peshawar Zalmi, advanced to the playoff stage.
They were defeated by Islamabad United in Eliminator 2. Afterwards, United won the trophy for the third time.
