Kristina Piszkova of Czech Republic crowned Miss World

Kristina Piszkova of Czech Republic has been crowned Miss World.

Christina was crowned in a glittering ceremony in India as the 71st Miss World beauty pageant was hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young of the Philippines.

Lebanon’s Yasmina Zeytoun was the first runner-up among 112 contestants in the competition held in Mumbai, India’s financial and entertainment capital.

Speaking after her crowning ceremony, Christina said, “Being crowned Miss World is a dream come true. I am extremely honored to represent my country and the values ​​of ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ on the global stage.”

Christina waved to the large crowd at the Geo World Convention Center and hugged some of the other contestants as reigning Miss World Karoline Bielawska of Poland handed her the crown.

Kristina Piszkova, born 19 January 1999, is a Czech model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was previously crowned Miss Czech Republic 2022, and is the second woman representing the Czech Republic to win Miss World.
