Meghan Markle attends South by Southwest festival in Austin for International Women’s Day

Meghan Markle attended the South by Southwest festival in Austin as a keynote speaker and shared her experience with cyber bullying while pregnant with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The Duchess of Sussex shared: “The most bullying and abuse I faced on social media and online was when I was pregnant with Archie and Lily. And you just think about that and what people will actually do. “I think that’s pretty disgusting.”

She added, “It’s not nonsense, it’s cruel, why would you do that? Certainly when you’re pregnant and you have a newborn baby.”

However, Meghan’s “mammary instincts” came to the fore and she fought her way through it.

Suit The star was joined by actress Brooke Shields and American presenter Katie Couric, as well as her husband Prince Harry.

Meghan also praised the Duke of Sussex for supporting her activism.

She said: “My husband is a very kind father and very supportive of me and our family.”

“I don’t take it for granted. It’s a real blessing. A lot of people don’t have that level of support,” she said.

Prince Harry was in the audience and Meghan cheered him on as she delivered her powerful International Women’s Day message.
