Anti-monarchy group Republic has reacted to Kate Middleton’s apology over the Mother’s Day photo controversy and called on the Palace to release the original photo.
“Like many amateur photographers, I sometimes experiment with editing,” the Princess of Wales said on X, her former Twitter handle. I would like to apologize for any confusion caused by the family photo we shared yesterday.

Commenting on this, Republic said, “It is unlikely that this will be finished without the original unedited image.”
Meanwhile, commenting on royal expert Roya Nikkha’s tweet, the group tweeted: “So where is the original?”
